3. Finding humor where we can 19 May, 2025 - 48 days

I'm going to preface this with we're trying to find humor where we can, so don't come for me.

A consequence of the dude waiting for his ramp to be approved is he's started sitting to go down the steps. They're brick. I've warned him repeatedly he's going to rip his pants.

He had a really tough time of it today on his way to physical therapy and it pushed us nearly being late, despite adding an extra half hour for him to tackle the steps. So, I was rushing and my sole focus was getting there. As we walked into his PT office, I noticed it. It being...those sweatpants are toast.

I let out an audible "Aw man!" He asked why. I told him. Without missing a beat he said "And that's why I don't go commando, mom."

As a consequence, I'm looking for a small slide he can use temporarily so he doesn't shred his entire wardrobe.
